Celebrating aquatic excellence at the Ryan Family #YMCA 🏊♀️ This weekend our association hosted the first swim meet of the 2024 summer season. After the meet, families enjoyed a unique experience with the annual Flick n Float Movie Night, relaxing in the pool and enjoying pizza while watching a family-friendly film. At the Y, our Swim Team goals are: - To help swimmer reach their full potential as confident swimmers. - To help swimmer learn good sportsmanship and being part of a team. - To help promote lifelong fitness for all of our members. - To teach swimmer character development including Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. ⚾️ Our Padres Rookie League Opening Day was a home run! 🎉 We're excited to start another season of fun, learning, and teamwork with the youth in the 2024 Padres Rookie League! 🧢 Kids ages 5-12 received their own hat and glove to start their journey in baseball this summer. We had exciting giveaways, games and so many activities for the family. Skateboarding serves as a powerful tool for positive youth development. Join us tomorrow for the 3rd annual #GoSkateDay event at the Magdalena Ecke #YMCA in Encinitas, a free family night with lessons, games, food, music to celebrate the positive impact of skateboarding! We are grateful to RSM and Justin Chaitin for their partnership in bringing this experience to our community.
