Figma Config 24 APAC ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Figma Config is a true reflection of my career growth. As Figma has grown rapidly, so have I! The latest updates truly shows what a user-centric product should be. My favorite feature is Figma Slides 🛝 aka "Flides," and Figma AI (Augmented Intelligence) is on another level! As a product designer, our work has profound meaning in solving real-world problems, and there's so much more to do thanks to Figma for making it possible . Grateful for the opportunity to meet great design leaders in the industry who have had a significant impact on my career. Meeting these leaders was a dream come true. Some of the best moments include meeting Figma CEO, design leaders like Anil Reddy and Saptarshi Prakash and other talented product designers from the industry. Though our chats were quick, they were incredibly memorable. One tool in my ecosystem that gives me super powers -> Figma. Reasons.. - It understands how I think. - It evolves me as a creative. - It brings the community together. Bottomline ➡ The people at Figma actually fucking care. The platform constantly evolves by being obsessed about its users. Tapping their experiences, demands, feedback and feelings from everywhere. Support Forums, Social media, analytics, what not! It so often happens that I’d wish…. “Ah, what if we had this X feature”… and in the next Figma update, I’ll have it! Magically! It’s almost scary, as if someone from the Figma team spends his whole day, everyday, standing behind my chair. Another bottomline ➡ I’m in deep love with Figma. And I'm going to talk a ton about it. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟯 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 $𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲? (it is projected to achieve $1 Billion ARR by 2025. Fascinating. Isn’t it?) Figma’s user base has grown by over 200% since 2018. The manner in which they achieved this is remarkable. Fueled by their computer science backgrounds, founders Dylan Field & Evan Wallace identified a gap in the design world: the lack of collaborative tools. Incompatibility between design and development workflows, and limited prototyping functionality further frustrated designers. These challenges paved the way for Figma's creation. Figma’s rise is attributed to these aspects. Product & Community Led Growth, Content Marketing and Collaborative focus. Not only did they address the issue of lack of collaborativeness, they addressed it with a bold innovation that allowed real-time co-editing. This revolutionized design workflows, enabling teams to work together seamlessly, iterate faster, and eliminate the need for file sharing. The introduction of a plugin marketplace further cemented Figma's dominance. It allowed the developer community to showcase their expertise and also created an additional revenue stream for Figma. Figma is on track for sustained growth. But the story extends beyond its impressive rise. 𝗜𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿-𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵.
