There are now quantized LLaMA 2 finetunes of the 13B model that support 16k context window size. Pretty astonishing, and awesome for in-context learning. Also, a paper from Meta that co-introduces this approach doesn't report significant output quality/perplexity impact up to 32k context window finetuning -- which means the limit might lie far beyond 32k if we're lucky. I plan to, roughly, benchmark 8k and 16k context windows' memory usage and token frequency vs 4k on 13B soon, in case I find no pre-existing benchmarks about this in the meantime Example: https://lnkd.in/eZvNVMkD

What Is Quantum Computing? In quantum computing, a qubit (short for "quantum bit") is a unit of quantum information - the quantum analogue to a classical bit. Qubits have special properties that help them solve complex problems much faster than classical bits. One of these properties is superposition, which states that instead of holding one binary value ("0" or "1") like a classical bit, a qubit can hold a combination of "0" and "1" simultaneously. When multiple qubits interact coherently, they can explore multiple options and process information in a fraction of the time it would take classical even the fastest non-quantum systems. Use Azure Quantum 'Playground' to Explore New v1.0 Dev Kit Microsoft finally shipped v1.0 of its Azure Quantum Development Kit (QDK) after last year changing directions and using the Rust programming language for a re-write. This extension brings rich Q# language support to VS Code. Develop, build, and run your Q# code from VS Code either locally on simulators, or by submitting a job to Azure Quantum. This playground (https://lnkd.in/dY6HH8DZ), using VS Code for the Web is the fastest way to get started using the new QDK.

📢 BREAKING: Introducing Copilot for Windows 11. 📎 Is it you, Clippy? 😎 Perhaps it is the evolution of Clippy. Here is what Copilot can do: - Ability to give commands to Windows, like starting an app. - Photos can blur out the background or remove the background. - Paint adds generative AI to enhance digital drawing. - Snipping Tool can identify text within images and facilitate the creation of images and videos. - Add extra info and find the best prices when shopping online with Bing. - Bing will support the latest DALLE-3 from OpenAI. Super excited to try it. The new features will be rolled out in the next Windows release on Sept 26. ____ #ai #machinelearning #genai

📢 Exciting news! 🦙 Ollama, the popular large language model runner, has just launched its Windows preview version, making it possible to run, pull and create models right from your native Windows environment. 🌍 This new version comes with a host of features including built-in GPU acceleration, access to the full Ollama model library, including vision models, and compatibility with OpenAI API. 🤖 🚀 Hardware acceleration is now possible using NVIDIA GPUs or modern CPU instruction sets such as AVX and AVX2 without any configuration required. This ensures a smoother experience when running models on Windows. 📚 The full Ollama model library is accessible on Windows, meaning you can run all your favorite models including vision models like LLaVA 1.6. You can even add images to messages by simply dragging and dropping them into the Ollama Run application. ⏰ Always-on Ollama API automatically runs in the background on localhost:11434, making it easy for tools and applications to connect to it with no additional setup required. ✍️ To make things even better, you can now use existing OpenAI tooling built for remote models with local models via Ollama, creating a more seamless integration experience. Ready to start? Get the Windows preview version today by downloading it from GitHub and running "ollama run mistral" in your terminal. Get more information at https://lnkd.in/ebCtKn47. 🤗 #Ollama #Windows #LargeLanguageModel #AI #OpenAI #GPUAcceleration #ModelLibrary #API #Compatibility #WindowsPreview #GetStarted

If you are a software engineer working in the terminal on macOS you need to check out warp now! why? * Editor-like features on the CLI-like tab complete (VScode 💘) * AI command search 🤯 What more do you need? (I am very jealous I can't use this at work because I am on windows 👎) Nobody has time to google bash CLI commands, spend 10 hours coming up with the perfect regex for grep, or read through ugly man (manual) pages. This tool has AI command search built in which is a godsend. 🙌👼 I can't wait for the windows edition of this. I just wrote a bash & python script that uses ChatGPT and filters out the response to get me the same thing on my WSL setup. I will share it soon after I clean it up a bit 😄 https://www.warp.dev/ #softwareengineer #ai #terminal #bash #shellscripting #python

ARE YOU THE NEXT BILL GATES OR WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS ... IF YOU CAN CREATED A HOLOGRAM PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE TO PROGRAM HOLOGRAM OBJECTS - OBJECT WORLD...THEN... THE OBJECTS ARE BLOCKS OF CODES THAT YOU CAN MOVE TO ASSEMBLEY LINE TO CREATE A PROGRAM AND YOU DON'T NEED TO CODE A SINGLE CODE. THE OBJECTS IS THE BUILDING BLOCKS FOR YOUR PROGRAM AND YOUR HAND JUST MOVE THOSE BLOCKS TO CREATE A PROGRAM.
