They have been used for centuries due to their elasticity, impermeability, and ability to preserve wine. Natural corks are harvested from cork oak trees and are prized for their traditional appeal and breathability. Synthetic corks are made from materials like plastic or composite materials and are used as an alternative to natural corks. Technical corks are a hybrid, often composed of natural cork particles or agglomerates. Wine corks play a crucial role in the aging process of wine by allowing a controlled amount of oxygen to interact with the wine over time. This process can influence the flavor, aroma, and overall development of the wine. #winecorks #winepackaging #naturalcork #syntheticcorks

Did you know? GT-01 edition; GT-01 is a closed gutter often used for strawberries, high-wire vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, medicinal plants, and flowers. With an available width of 110 – 360mm and a maximum span of 5 meters, this is the strongest, most stable gutter that can hold up to 25 kg/m. Thanks to the gutter's closed structure, avoiding light penetration, the chance of having biofilm on the drain water is reduced drastically. Lastly, it is also good to know that Growtec works with coated and stainless steel instead of plastic for the end caps and drain tray. #growtec #gutters #didyouknow

The answer lies in our production locations around the equator. By carefully selecting the best spots for each variety, we are able to offer a year-round supply of fresh, high-quality flowers. #AskMarginpar #summerflowers #cutflowers #growingflowers #theperfectspot

How mindful are we? We chop trees to make furniture, eat plants and use resin from many trees. Some of the resins- are good for health taken everyday. Some become fragrances. Anything taken without harming the plant is fine. We have been fully unaware that plants are sentient beings and they feel pain. Plants communicate within themselves - through the roots, and they too have a beat within. We need flowers and fruits, grass and leaves, twigs and branches, logs and roots… we consume everything around us. Watching this video churned something in me to understand how we use fragrances without knowing how, and where it comes from? How responsible are we- when it comes to choices? How much time do we spend knowing the origins of what we buy and use? Every living being has a spirit soul within. Plants live beyond their death also. They serve many purposes. They keep us living. Without them we will be gone. Can’t we atleast spend little time to know about the very source that keeps us alive? Green living is not living with plants as the source. It also means - to protect the very source that sustains us. Leave your comments and tell us … what do you do to protect plant- vegetation and how? #trees #vegetation #plants #flowers #fruits #wood #furniture #foodsecurity #biodiversity #planethealth #flora #fauna #greenliving Organic Consumers Association of Australia https://lnkd.in/gQ-uPEbS
Agriculture Hub on Instagram: "Agarwood is a special tree that makes a wonderful and fragrant resin inside it. To get this sweet-smelling resin, red rods are gently put into the tree's stem. People love agarwood because it smells amazing! They use it to make nice perfumes, incense, and even medicine. It's like nature's secret gift for our senses! 🌳🌸✨ . . . . . . . . #naturelovers #trees #plants
