As we stand on the brink of launching VibeNshare, I find myself reflecting on the journey that brought us here. From the outset, the vision for VibeNshare was ambitious: to revolutionize the way people host and attend private parties, transforming ordinary private spaces into extraordinary experiences. But to turn this vision into reality, it required a team not just with different skill sets, but with passion, creativity, and diverse perspectives. Almost every cofounder of VibeNshare was discovered through LinkedIn through a comprehensive screening. This platform did more than just connect us professionally; it brought together a group of individuals with a shared dream, each from different backgrounds, each with their own unique story to bring into the VibeNshare narrative. A Memorable Gathering in Copenhagen This past weekend, we had the extraordinary opportunity to all meet in Copenhagen. For a team that usually collaborates remotely, being together in one place was both fun, wild and magical. It was a moment that strengthened our bond and reaffirmed our commitment to VibeNshare - sidenote, luckily you almost can't tell if we had a hangover on this picture🤫 Our Collective Achievement In a few months, we've taken VibeNshare from a mere concept to a nearly completed MVP. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and synergy of our team. Balancing their roles in VibeNshare with personal commitments, their passion has been the driving force behind our progress. Our Vision for VibeNshare We believe VibeNshare will create a boost of awesomeness in the world by redefining the social experience when going out. Our platform isn’t just about hosting or attending parties; it’s about creating connections, building communities, and experiencing moments that traditional public nightlife venues simply cannot offer. We all know how it goes - Everyone loves a private party more than going out to a bar or club, but almost no one can comprehend the task of arranging one. We’re creating a space where hosting a party is not only fun but also rewarding, both socially and financially. A Note of Gratitude As I look at the photo of our team, united in our mission, I am filled with gratitude. I am grateful for all the things we’ve learned this far from our failures and successes, grateful for the dedication of the whole team, and grateful for the journey that lies ahead. We are excited to soon share VibeNshare with the world, and we believe it will not just change how people party, but how they connect and experience life in general. Have a lovely day all you beautiful people. We hope you will join us & spread the word.

Our #Trends for Venue Finding in 2024 💡 ♻️Sustainability is an increasingly important consideration for our events. We look for venues that have received environmental certifications, such as ECOsmart or ISO 20121, which demonstrate a commitment to sustainable practices. We favour venues with energy-efficient lighting, heating, and technical systems as this can reduce environmental impact and lower operating costs. These venues are especially suited to clients with sustainable objectives for the event as it will reduce their adverse environmental impact. ✨ Personalisation and creating a unique experience for attendees is high on our 2024 vision. We assess the venue’s facilities, such as AV equipment, Wi-Fi capabilities, breakout rooms, and seating options, to ensure they align with the event’s needs. We use this tech to brand the event and create a sense of exclusivity. We consider the accessibility of the venue for all attendees, including those with disabilities. We ensure there are ramps, accessible restroom facilities, and quiet breakout spaces as needed. We adapt any event to the requirements of our client and personalise their accessible facilities. ⌛In the past, event venues would typically receive bookings months, if not years, in advance. And in today’s fast-paced world, especially after the pandemic, this is no longer the case. Many event organisers are booking venues on a much shorter lead time, with some even booking events within a matter of weeks. As a result, event venues need to be flexible and responsive, able to adapt to changing circumstances at a moment’s notice. #veSpace #Trends #EventTips #VenueFinding #GlobalSourcing #EventProfs #UKVenues #EventVenues

After 12 years on the trot I decided to take a break from Cannes this year. To do Cannes well requires a big type of energy. Energy I don’t have to spare at the minute. The undeniable thing about the festival is that it’s great for meeting people. My FOMO levels have been pretty minimal, but missing out on meeting clients, colleagues and friends from around the world - new and old - is definitely what I've missed the most. Egos, yachts, beach parties et al aside, the reason companies can justify the expense for an excursion to the South of France is that it drives business. The maths work, as evidenced by the increasing size of the festival. Check out Brian Morrissey’s ‘The Rebooting’ newsletter for a robust case in support of this (link below). But the downside to that bloatedness is that there seems to be a growing divide in terms of access, which only serves to support those organisations with the financial clout to pay for a private performance with Lenny Kravitz/dinner at Hotel-du-Cap/transatlantic travel on a chartered private jet (none of these are made up). As Lola Bakare phrased it, there are ‘layers of social stratification’ that seem to be deepening. Part of me says fair enough, it’s a feature not a bug. But then I saw Brian Collins & co’s invitation to escape for “small, curated (but unfussy) events about the real creative and business challenges of the day.” Yes, in a chateau, but open to all. Which has me thinking, if an event like Cannes becomes a meeting venue exclusively for those with the deepest pockets, then we need a new way to convene for the thousands of small and medium sized independent creative and technology companies that make up this industry. How do you possibly rise above the noise as one of those - not just in Cannes, but for the other 51 weeks of the year too? In an oversaturated market the opportunity for differentiation is clear, but it feels like new spaces are needed for the best new and existing independent entities to get the spotlight. Not another industry echo chamber dominated by the same people/companies, but a space that showcases the best and most exciting brains in a way that drives business, not just likes, pats on the back and strokes of the ego. I have some thoughts on what that could be, but it ought to be shaped by the industry so I’d love to know what other people think. If you’re reading this and feel the same way, drop me a DM and let’s chat.

Some years ago, I was just another guest at a birthday party in a venue called Oche, a competitive socialising hotspot in Oslo. We ate, we drank, we laughed, and we engaged in a friendly, but of course a competitive game of modern darts. At that time I was operating high-end hotels in the Nordics, and little did I know that this venue was part of a rapidly emerging global trend. And even less did I foresee that I would, a few short years later, be leading an important player in this space, The Social Gaming Group. Competitive socialising - the fusion of high-quality food, expertly crafted cocktails, and engaging activities like digital darts and shuffleboard - is reshaping the hospitality industry. It's more than entertainment; it's about building connections, fostering camaraderie, and creating unforgettable experiences in an increasingly digital world. Since that night at Oche, our chain has grown from one venue in Norway to a global presence spanning eight venues across three continents. And we're just getting started. We are on the brink of announcing partnerships with more franchisees worldwide, bringing our unique blend of competition, fun, and global cuisine to even more communities. We look forward to sharing more updates as we continue on this exciting path. I didn't win that night, but I walked away with something far more valuable - a glimpse into the future of hospitality. #CompetitiveSocializing #Hospitality #Innovation #ExperienceEconomy #Franchisee #Oche #TheSocialGamingGroup

🔆 Last Wednesday, my team and I gathered in Berlin for an offsite, and the slogan on the wall in the hotel lobby fits perfectly with our team journey: living, belonging, and growing. ➡ LIVE: It is essential to live in the present and treat each other with respect and on an equal level. As we are all human individuals with our own challenges, as well as good and bad times being part of our lives. On Wednesday, we forgot all our challenges and had a great day full of activities in Berlin. ➡ BELONG: Belonging in a team is vital for fostering unity and collaboration. It creates a supportive environment where members feel valued, understood, and empowered to contribute their best. This happens best when meeting physically and sharing positive experiences together. ➡ GROW: This team is full of knowledge, experience, and potential. How to grow it further? The best way to do it is to create trust among each other and foster a "can-do mentality," where we support and help each other to grow. As we departed Berlin, we carried with us a stronger bond and trust that we will face all challenges ahead of us as one strong sourcing team! #PeopleMakeItHappen, #GSUS
