Today, as we celebrate the spirit of independence, we also honor a milestone in space exploration. On this day, 27 years ago, the Sojourner Lander became the first rover to explore Mars, setting the stage for extraordinary discoveries. At Voyager Space, we're inspired by this legacy and committed to pushing the boundaries of space exploration. Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Congratulations to our friends at Firefly Aerospace on their fifth successful launch, aptly named "Noise of Summer"! Voyager Space’s Exploration team was proud to lead the satellite integration for all eight cubesats on board, on behalf of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The Firefly Alpha vehicle took off at 9:04 p.m. PDT on July 3, 2024, successfully deploying all eight satellites. These payloads were sponsored by the NASA Cubesat Launch Initiative (CSLI) Launch Services Program (LSP), and included innovative projects from the University of Arizona, The University of Kansas, University of Maine, NASA Johnson Space Center, Teachers in Space, Inc., University of Washington, and NASA Ames Research Center. Voyager has successfully integrated and supported the launch of over 300 satellites, and our team provided end-to-end support for this mission – from mission planning to integration onto the launch vehicle. Congratulations again to Firefly and all of the customers on board as they begin their data collection. We look forward to the next mission! https://lnkd.in/gHX4BuhK
