Following the success of its service in loading and stuffing specialist Toyota vehicles destined for humanitarian work around the world, APM Terminals is exploring opportunities to expand its capabilities beyond Spain.     Since 2004, APM Terminals teams in Algeciras have loaded an average of 3,000 custom cars a year, or around 60,000 total. Customer Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings extended the service to Valencia in December following positive experience of the APM Terminals-Maersk integrated partnership.    At the terminal, experts load and secure each vehicle in 20 or 40-foot sealed containers before they are loaded onto container ships. In this way, APM Terminals, together with Maersk, ensure the customised vehicles arrive where they are needed without a scratch, ready to be of help where they’re needed.
