This is both insightful and sad at the same time. Especially from having been on either side of that aisle. I agree with this breakdown, but it’s kinda discouraging. The article really shows how much of a mess the music industry, beyond, but also including, the needs of its professionals.

Great article. This industry-market fit framework brings much-needed clarity when giving feedback to fellow founders on their startup ideas. It reminds me of people promising to "remove" industry professionals with tech, instead of helping them.
