GPT-4o voice mode is really impressive. We gave it a face with Synthesia EXPRESS-1, our latest avatar model. When empathy is important – healthcare, coaching, education - a friendly face really makes a difference. It's why we do Zoom over phone calls. What do you think?
When empathy is important offering a robot instead of authentic human being is offensive. I was depressed because of corporate mobbing and I was offered to take a therapeutic session with a robot. I will remember this situation as one of most dehumanized in my life.😒
This is the ONLY way to improve the OpenAI event ... oh yeah, and GPT-5, Siri integration, and XYZ+ Jokes aside, would be dope to see a Synthesia x ChatGPT partnership soon 👀
I think it's going to need labelling before people get confused about who is real and who is an avatar. Here's our approach. https://share.synthesia.io/15035273-f78b-4bb9-976a-814463c301d4 You might recognise another Synthesia avatar.
Her is here, 10 years after it hit the cinema. Insane. Makes us wonder about the timeline of interstellar, mr nobody and the like. (Terminator as well? 😂 just kidding) Great job Victor Riparbelli
Generation Beta will almost certainly grow up mimicking a.i influencers, but how soon until a.i becomes role models for the current generations - and not in a npc meme way. Actual personality training. Imagine a world where you can digitally clone yourself - youGPT - and youGPT can be put on selected simulations where it explores any and every social exchange you can imagine. Eg. You have a difficult social situation - So, you input the person's characteristics and prompt youGPT. youGPT returns with the optimal social strategy with tactical considerations. You now have the advantage in any marketplace. You give youGPT more access to your life and it begins to optimise your life in every conceivable way. You learn that deviating from youGPT is suboptimal. The government uses it's right to access your youGPT platform to implement govGPT analytics - say for tax purposes - youGPT now optimises for govGPT.
