Exciting news! F1000 is delighted to announce that we are proud partners of the BMJ Research Forum 2023, a dynamic event focusing on driving forward the real-world impact of research— the linchpin of F1000's mission.
The Forum will bring together a diverse group of experts, including research funding organizations, policymakers, individuals with lived experience, research leaders and editors, alongside F1000’s Managing Director, Rebecca Lawrence. Together they will delve into the pressing questions that transcend the medical research community.
This year, the focus revolves around two crucial areas:
1. How data flows from patients and citizens to research and back to deliver benefits
2. How we formulate the building blocks of research – the research questions – in the most equitable and comprehensive way

😮 Hard to believe that almost a WEEK has passed since #APSMarch. The conference gets bigger, better, and more exciting each and every year - and it's incredibly inspiring to see the continued growth of the #Quantum community.
✨ While there were MANY highlights from this year's event, here are our top 4:
👉 YOU! - The main highlight of APS is always you, lovely folks. Our booth was endlessly buzzing with excitement and curiosity as quantum researchers and students kept stopping buy to see live demos and get hands-on with the most advanced #QuantumControl system out there. We hope you managed to grab some swag as well! :shirt:
💃 QM VIP Mixer: Yes, at QM we know how to work hard, but we also know how to let our hair down. Folks were lining up to get into our annual party, and it was worth the wait!
🏅 QUAlympics: The first QUAlympics tournament took place at this year's APS March. Participants without prior experience with QUA were using it to solve quantum coding challenges. The creativity and ingenuity on display were inspiring, as well as the little time it took people to become QUA-fluent. In the end, we had 4 worthy winners - Shravan Patel, Eric Yelton, Shoumik Chowdhury, and Maximilian Hollendonner!
🔬 Talks Galore - This year saw 5 scientific talks on different areas of #QuantumComputing and #QuantumControl from the QM team. These talks covered everything from feed-forward latency requirements for QEC, to chip packaging for improved MW performance, and more.
🤩 We can't wait for next year already! And if you missed us, and you're in Europe next week, be sure to catch us at DPG in Berlin (Booth A22) 📆
