I'm delighted to welcome Joe Wilson to our team. Joe joins us with a 1st from Glasgow University a MEng in Mechatronics. A five year integrated degree encompassing, control theory, software engineering, electronic systems and circuit design, systems daynamics and modelling to name but a few of the subject areas. Joe will take on the role of lead control technician at Varicon Aqua Solutions ltd, playing a pivotal role in developing and refining the functionality of our Variconnect data acquisition and control package as well as having a free hand to contribute and innovate across our current and future product range. I have no doubt Joe will will enjoy the oppotunites and challenges ahead in equal measure. Kirchhoff's Current Law: From the class, to the exam, to actual reality... It's one of these things you need to take baby steps.... Otherwise you'll be overwhelmed, before you know it!!! Kirchhoff's current law states that the current flowing into a node must be equal to the current flowing out it. When you have current coming from one branch going into one node, then it splits into 3 branches (or even more), it can become quite complex very quickly. If you're studying an electrical engineering degree while viewing this.... In your circuit analysis module..... You can never study too many circuits... Do as many as you can before your exam.... This is called a Smith Chart. It's used in electrical engineering for calculating certain component sizes for radio transmission circuitry, using complex numbers. (real & imaginary numbers).
