A great little project incorporating many features such as temperature control, pH dO2, OD & PAR monitoring and control Via Variconnect. LED dimming and photoperiod. Automated/manual media delivery via peristaltic. All the usual knobs and whistles with plenty of other options available to suit a very diverse range of micro and macro algae research applications. The Phyco-Lift is a versatile platform which can be expanded linearly or vertically by adding another module or exchanging the vertical tubes from 1.4mL to 2.5m or 5.5m if you have the height in your facility. Here's a good example of how a timsTOF can improve separation of coeluting species in a sample. The chromatogram on the left shows 3 coeluting peaks while the mobilogram on the right demonstrates the enhancement in resolution achieved using trapped ion mobility. Textbook case with great images - had to repost this one. Just remember that Seidel 'Negative' doesn't mean there is definitely no leak, it can also mean that you may not have seen the leak (if very sublte) or that the test was not performed correctly. Always consider the other signs, AC cells, flat/shallow AC, low IOP, examine the corneal section, and as this case shows so well, corneal OCTs can be really helpful. Thanks Dr Nasser!

In the Ventimiglia Gilbert-type #delta... • Bioturbation intensity increases with increasing distance from the delta top setting. • Ichnodiversity and bioturbation intensity is maximum in delta toe and prodelta units (that's the pictured scenario!). • Skolithos and Chondrites are common in the highstand systems tract. In the Ventimiglia paleodelta, reworked beach deposits occasionally present bioerosional ichnotaxa (Entobia, Gastrochaenolites, and Maeandropolydora), which suggest the presence of a nearby rocky coast. Overall, bioturbation intensity increases with increasing distance from the delta-top setting, whereas ichnodiversity has its maximum in delta-toe and prodelta units.
