On June 7, the European Commission (EC) has drafted a commission delegated regulations on the listing of UV328 and Methoxychlor as prohibited persistent organic pollutants. The draft aims the addition of methoxychlor and UV328 to Annex A of Regulation EU 2019/1021 on persistent organic pollutants. This means these substances shall be prohibited from being imported, exported, produced, and used in the EU save for some specific exemptions: UV 328 • concentration shall be equal to or below 1 mg/kg where they are present in substances, mixtures, or articles • may be used in some specific articles as specified in Annex B Methoxychlor • concentration shall be equal to or below 0.01 mg/kg where they are present in substances, mixtures, or articles Read additional details here: https://s.ul.com/4eN8jtz If you have any questions please contact us: https://s.ul.com/3RXbDIL
