So proud of the Twine team. We changed our business model in October which carried a huge amount of risk. But it worked. Since starting Twine, I wanted us to take a different approach to other labour marketplaces. We were transparent with pricing and charged the companies hiring a commission % on successful payments. We didn't charge our freelancers/experts. The reality was our commission was a barrier to getting good jobs/projects on the platform and people circumventing and going off-platform was always a challenge. We now have a freemium SaaS model for the freelancers/experts. It's free for clients to post projects/jobs and to make a hire. We don't need to worry about circumvention to the same extent. This pivot shows how deeply we care about innovation and fairness in the freelance world. It's all about opening up even more chances for freelancers and companies to grow together with Twine. I'm excited for what is next. Well done team Twine 👏
