Did you know that in Dubrovnik, #Croatia, the amount of visitors every year equals 36 tourists for every local resident? 🗺️🧳 Dubrovnik, a city rich in history and #culture, is a top destination for global travellers. While the surge in visitors has elevated the tourism sector, it has also raised living expenses for the locals which particularly affects the city's #artisans. To address this challenge, we’re launching TUI Colourful Cultures Croatia. 1w❤️ Please support local art and crafts so they can face the cheap goods produced in China. In Dubrovnik Old City, there's a woman selling traditional handmade embroidery. Her work is gorgeous but her store is hidden away from the main tourist ways. There were a traditional jewel maker in the street parallel to the main street. He has moved away now, his store now replaced by a drinks stand. couldn't find him anymore when I needed him.
