It’s a bit like „Easter Egg Hunt“: Hotel development in existing buildings - mainly in central locations of major European cities - begins with a targeted search for underused office or hotel buildings that are suitable for repositioning. Once the ECE Work & Live GmbH & Co. KG hotel development team has identified the right property and found it suitable, the extensive analysis work also begins for the technical and legal team within our own ranks. Througout the building - from the dark basement to the rooftop - it is very important to take a close look at every small corner to see, if there still is a „surprise“ hidden somewhere that can decide the feasibility of the entire project! Even with our current hotel development in Rome, where we started restructuring the former office building at the end of 2023, all project participants need to work closely together. Regularly we coordinate on site how to overcome the challenges in a historic property within the targeted timeframe, so that our operational partner Ruby can welcome the first guests there in spring 2025. With a sundowner Easter Greeting from the Eternal City - showing the view of St. Peter‘s Basilica from our roof - we wish all our partners blessed and sunny Easter holidays- as well as many joyful surprises for all of us during our „Easter Egg Hunt“! 😉

"Interesting stuff". Wer es versteht - Du und ECE, ihr versteht das, der ist dann im "Gold-Mining Business". Das sagt einer, der selbst schon ein Dutzend Bestandhotels maga-erfolgreich saniert hat únd in Südafrika drei Monate in einer Goldmine, 7.800 Fuß unter Tage, als Assistant Gold Sampler, Gesteinsproben aus der Goldader entnahm. Zu wissen wo was drinsteckt, wo doch alles Gestein dort unten bei 50° Hitze fast gleich aussieht, unterscheidet den Einäugigen vom Blinden.
