Two years ago I gave my Dad his last, but best Fathers Day present - I got him studio time to record a song he wrote in the 1960’s that was recorded by another band, but he never liked their version. Here is a photo of him practicing the song. Sadly he got sick at the same time and passed away before we could record it. He said one of his last regrets was not getting to do the song. So in his final days, I told him my brother and I would do it as a tribute. So that’s what we did. He never got to see this, but I think he’d be pretty damn proud that we pulled it off. I know I am! We even found videos of him practicing so we worked that in as well. Hope you enjoy it and have a great Fathers Day. #fathersday #music

I love that you shared the love (and talent!) for music and he knew that about you. My dad could play on any instrument he put his hands on. It was inspiring to watch. I wish he knew my daughter past her age of 3 as she can play 6 instruments and she’s only 16 (and only one of them she’s thought by a teacher). She shares that with him I’m sure - I wish he knew.

Awe that is awesome! Can you share the link to listen to it?
