Last week, we were thrilled to have Jeffrey Haines present at Bob Veres' Insider's Forum, sharing how purpose is quickly becoming a business imperative for RIAs! We also had the privilege of supporting the mission of the Foundation for Financial Planning with an onsite donation to the organization. Their work is a real testament to the incredible impact that socially responsible businesses can have.    Jeff had the honor of presenting the check, and it was graciously accepted by Megan Carpenter, Gabe Garcia, and Yonhee Choi Gordon. What an amazing time we had at the #IiO Awards, celebrating Lupe Camargo MBA, CFP®! Her outstanding work in support of the Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) over 17 years earned her Honorable Mention for the Catalyst Award as well as a generous grant of $2,000 for GSACPC. We felt truly privileged to support this event that acknowledges the philanthropic contributions in our industry, not only on a national but also on a global level. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners for their accomplishments! The Invest in Others Award program recognizes the charitable work of financial advisors in communities across the country and around the world. Applications are evaluated based on an advisor’s leadership, dedication, contribution, inspiration and impact on a nonprofit and the community it serves. Invest in Others receives hundreds of award nominations each year. Sixty advisors as honorable mentions were selected for their tremendous contributions in their communities. More information can be found at https://lnkd.in/dJDi56nJ.   Each honorable mention recipient received a $2,000.00 donation from Invest in Others to the nonprofits they were recognized for, and Lupe Camargo was recognized for her service with Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus Pine Council.   No fee was paid by Lupe Camargo or Thrivent to Invest in Others in exchange for inclusion in the award, however, Thrivent did sponsor the award event and paid a fee to utilize certain marketing assets to promote inclusion in the award.
