Today, we're rolling out something huge. It's called Automations 🤖 Automations are trigger -> action rules designed to supercharge product operations and eliminate manual tasks, allowing product teams to focus on what truly matters: building great products. How does it work? 👉 Pick an event within Harvestr or one of our integrations. 👉 Whenever that event occurs, an action within Harvestr We're kicking things off with status synchronization between Harvestr and Atlassian Jira, but that's just the beginning. The possibilities are endless 🎢 Big 👏 to Valentin Berthomier Romain Billot and Alexandre Simonet for building this in such a short amount of time!

Feature flags can ruin your codebase: • They give PMs an excuse to 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, such as completely removing a feature. • The codebase becomes more complex and 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻. • 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 (and lower quality) - figuring out what combination of feature flags needs to be supported. A Jira ticket for deleting them isn't enough. Luckily, you can do something about it! In his great article here: https://lnkd.in/dFDq2PeH Pete Hodgson talks about 4 types of feature flags: 1. Release toggles 2. Ops toggles 3. Experiment toggles 4. Permissions toggles Each type of toggle should live for a different period of time and have different requirements for changing it. Read my article for a deeper dive on how to deal with it: https://lnkd.in/d9VM4iBR

Getting clear about scope that's in direct line of sight of the insight and hypothesis help your team get just enough context to design and estimate the effort to build a new experience.
Ship fast without sacrificing quality by keeping scope narrow. Organize the top features or capabilities, a link to the design and bookmark related issues in Linear or Jira, all on a card. Coming soon to Personify!

You know you're the category leader when competitors defame you 🤥 👉 GitGuardian detects secrets in Slack, Jira, and not only your git-based code repositories. 👉 GitGuardian has a unique posture to secure your CICD with honeytokens, trapping attackers with fake API keys. We also detect secrets in CI pipelines 😇 Oh and we still have the best accuracy & recall on the market. Having already helped 500 000 developers keep their code secure does that ❤️

I had a blast completing my second QA Engineering Project with TripleTen! I worked on a GPS direction app/server checking to ensure ✔️ New software features worked as expected, ✔️ New software features did not affect prior software features, ✔️ Created a full bug report that documents and describes each problem I located, and ✔️ Created my first bug report on Atlassian Jira! I am excited to start Sprint 2 and my next project! #TripleTen #TenTechSquad #TripleTenTenacity #StudentsWhoCode
