Behind the stoves, behind each of our products, there's a human team putting heart and soul into making everything move forward. We're only here thanks to them. Hence, we kick off this section to acknowledge their efforts. We couldn't begin this team-focused section without interviewing someone as key as Gema Mancebo Miguélez – our Human Resources Director! 💬 How would you describe yourself in three words? I'd say committed, approachable, and ethical. I always keep in mind the motto, "Treat others as you would like to be treated”, it's a powerful principle of honesty! 💬 What does your job involve? I lead the People Department, and I like to call it that way because our essence lies in managing those who are already part of our organization. Our role in attracting good professionals and individuals to keep growing and evolving is also crucial. 💬 How long have you been with Fagor Professional? It's been exactly 10 years since I joined Fagor Professional in February, coming from what was previously Fagor Electrodomésticos. I am very grateful for this change, where I became a partner in the cooperative. 💬 What does Fagor Professional mean to you? Our initiative, "Office Goes Shopfloor," is dedicated to creating a deeper understanding and knowledge among different MAHLE departments. Key Account Manager Tina Ruggiero spent some time on the shopfloor to improve her understanding of teams' challenges in preparing customer orders. "Interacting in person is different to over the phone or email," she says, seeing the initiative as a chance to strengthen solidarity among colleagues. Sebastian Bäuerle from sales support emphasizes the advantages of the exchange: "I'm getting to know the people behind the names. This creates a different basis for collaboration." Both Tina and Sebastian believe that direct contact and regular interaction contribute to more effective cooperation and a positive working atmosphere. Virtual Roundtable “Transformation durch Qualität” Last 23.01.2023 I had the great pleasure to attend the virtual round table organized by Porsche Consulting, together with Dr. Lothar Halmer, Chief Quality Officer of Boehringer-Ingelheim and Hans-Josef Ingelmann, Chief Quality Officer of Unilever, in which we openly discussed about the new challenges that the quality tribe have ahead. On how to tackle problems in the supply chain or how to embrace new trends in quality management through digitalization and the importance of reliable data. Of course, the need to understand the sustainable transformation of companies and society as a challenge of equal caliber to the digital transformation. Putting the Automotive industry under the microscope! 🔬 Which company owns the industry share of voice on social media? We analyzed 276 of the industry’s leading organizations with 500-1000 employees and crunched the numbers… We wanted to know 3 things: Which companies have the most active employees on social media? What impact is this activity having? How does this compare to the industry standard? The results tell a very interesting story! 💡 Oh, and we ranked the companies too… Just to spice things up a little! 🌶️ The companies who topped the bill did so because their engaged employees consistently shared content with their networks. Helping to increase brand awareness, share of voice and other key social media performance metrics. Period 4 of the MARGA Online Competition! Embracing a new period means facing new challenges: • The teams have to anticipate a decrease in demand for one product. • Prices for pre-products are on the rise. • Due to a false assumption the team performance suffers. • The teams have to prepare for possible bad debts. • Additionally, heavy rainfall threatens the stock. Hats off to all teams for successfully navigating through these challenges, but the competition remains intense. The ranking witnessed a shift: Team 14 from SCHOTT showcased a remarkable performance, securing the 1st place. Good job, Martin Kocurek, Gurvinder Singh Putwalia, Philipp Völkl, Robert Barth and Emilia Hashamova. Equally impressive, Team 19 from Brose Group and Team 11 from Dürr defending the second and third rank. An impressive demonstration of your skills! Team 1 from Develey Senf & Feinkost GmbH worked its way up from 6th to 4th place. Well done! To all other teams: keep going; The TOP 4 are still within reach! Let’s grow together: To improve ourselves together with our team is, to us, an integral part of a sound company culture – in particular in times of transformation and change. 📈 This is why we are particularly happy that several 100 STIHL colleagues are actively contributing within the scope of our continuous improvement process (CIP) to comprehensively improve STIHL – ranging from our work flows up to the optimization of one's own workplace. At our CIP day, which could this year finally take place again with live attendance, 60 CIP moderators from five STIHL factories in Germany and Switzerland could share their views and insights and develop new ideas together. 💡🤝 It started with a Fresh-Up around the 5S at STIHL: Sort, Visible Order, Cleaning, Standardize and Self-discipline. This system supports our colleagues to bring orderliness into their daily work-life.
