Mosfet Gate driver design and testing using DS1104 R&D controller board. design for both gate drivers: tlp250 isolated driver IR2184 half bridge driver (Boot strapping operation) a simple prototype was built for each circuit on a bread board. the PWM signals were generated using the controller (open loop). the effect of stray inductance is quite evident as seen in the ringing and the voltage spikes. these problems can be handled by reducing the stray inductance through optimal configuration and component placement . for more details on how to properly design and implement these drivers check out these references: https://lnkd.in/dzqi2v-H https://lnkd.in/dwyQgz8H
