Problem solving. Critical thinking. These are now cornerstones of high(er) end recruiting today. Expensive testing marks many application processes especially for consulting jobs, but what if a driving and parking exercise was actually Test #1 ? Would that short circuit most processes and reduce the need for paper, calculator, screen-based tests? To poke the bear, what if people who ace critical thinking tests on screen / on paper can't actually figure out how to get in or out of a parking situation? Should they be hired on and paid the big bucks anyway?

BD - When reaching out to new clients via the phone(mobile or office) - what percentage of your calls are ending up in voicemail? Recruitment - When reaching out to candidates not expecting your call(either mobile or tapping them on the shoulder at work) what percentage of your calls are landing in voicemail? As a headhunter, our role is to identify and contact those candidates who are not actively waving their resumes all over the job boards and social media and most times the only place to contact them initially is their current place of employment. With that said, and "asking for a friend", what are your thoughts on recruitment on their company email if you can't reach them at their office?
