🎉 Time flies! It was a genuine surprise to realize that a whole year has passed since we, veniture, became a part of The Adaptavist Group. This milestone sneaked up on us, and to celebrate our 1-year acquisition anniversary, I recorded a video last weekend to share the experience. I break silos and unite teams through change. I help leadership in the space of agile and digital transformation.
Don't do change in silos....that's my new tagline During the last few months I have been reflecting on what is "My thing" in change that I do well. It is not easy to define a niche in the large world of change and transformation. Some specialises in specific industries, scale between local and global, others focus on type of change like merge & acquisitions, org change or IT deployment and some talk about their experience and specific skills. After speaking to people and reading feedback and recommendations, I boiled it down to my ability to unite people through change; understanding and leveraging each other strengths, sharing knowledge and creating common language and references that evolves through the journey. Thanks to Jess Tayel Dr. for helping me crafting the words after hearing me rumbling for a while. This is a starting point and it will continue to evolve. I have 2 questions for people reading this post; 1. For those who know me, does this resonate or is there anything else more important I should highlight? 2. As part of our company tradition at @Verifiech, we regularly organize events like "Wilful Wednesday" to foster growth and development among our employees. These sessions serve as a platform for insightful discussions, goal-oriented activities, and collective learning, enabling our team members to align their aspirations and skills with meaningful objectives. Yesterday was a game changer for goal setting based on OKR (Objective and Key Results). We were privileged to have Mr. Dharma and Mrs. Ramya, distinguished Guest Speakers from Datalligence, who took us on an enlightening journey into the world of OKRs (Objective & Key Results). The session started with team formation which was followed by the ice-breaker session to build the rapport between them. After this, individuals' opinions on their personal and professional lives were gathered to understand the purpose of each role. The purpose was then listed on a priority basis. After that, each team was asked to define and derive the OKR based on the purpose given to them. After this the concept and importance of OKR was defined to everyone along with the importance of aligning them with the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound) goals. The session ended with a feedback session and a task assigned to each team member. This task was to work on individual OKRs aligned with their roles for the next Wilful Wednesday Session. The session was absolutely enlightening and insightful, which will guide us towards growth and success! #growth #success #verifitech #goalsetting
