Our team has been hard at work over the weekend analyzing Taylor Swift's latest album for the hidden Easter eggs she has hidden for those of us in the insurance industry and we're pretty sure we've found a few hidden gems in some of her song lyrics! Fortnight: "I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary." Did you know that most health carriers offer tools to help members look up the efficacy of their medications? Members can see if their medications are effective in treating their conditions and see important recall information if their medication is unsafe. So Long, London: "So long London, had a good run" If you have employees who regularly travel internationally as part of their job, employers can ensure they have a GeoBlue plan in place so they can remain fully covered while overseas and not feel like they have to cut their trip short in the event of a medical emergency. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived: "You tried to buy some pills from a friend of friends of mine." It's important that if your employees are struggling to afford their medications that they know what safe alternatives are available to them. Employees can access alternative solutions such as manufacturers' coupons and savings programs like CleverRX or GoodRX. The Alchemy: "The hospital was a drag, worst sleep that i ever had" Many elective surgeries such as joint replacement can actually be performed at an outpatient surgery center for significantly less than an inpatient hospital. Some plan designs may even include savings or discounts when procedures take place at an outpatient surgery center. Employee usually experience significant savings when choosing where to have their surgery by avoiding an inpatient setting. Are there any TS Easter eggs we missed? #improvingbusiness #improvinglives #employeebenefits #hrsupport #corporatewellbeing #humanwellbeing #trustab

Our current insurance-pay health care model is SHATTERED! Just like shattered glass, it obliterates your view. There are too many cracks to see reality. PODIATRISTS, have you narrowed your view in order to see through a currently unshattered piece? Ignoring the fact that one day, that piece will soon shatter as well? You are not only working in a broken system where you are presently being exploited and abused on a daily basis, but you are ignoring what lies ahead - soon there will be no more intact pieces to look through. That is akin to being blind! I know you are miserable in this system. I hear you talking about it at seminars. I get emails from many of you bitterly complaining about the system but still, you don't take action to change things for the better. Insurance-dependency has shattered your dreams, your aspirations, your peace. It will continue to do so. You must make a choice - stop complaining and endure it until the day you retire (or quit practice) or take action and free yourself from this professional "enslavement". There is a way out of this misery into practice autonomy, success and professional satisfaction. And all it involves is taking a course at your own pace. FAST TRACK TO A FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE DIRECT-PAY PRACTICE FOR PODIATRISTS is an online course that will elevate your practice experience and put you in front of beautiful, clean glass for the best views possible! Leave the shattered system behind. Click here: https://lnkd.in/eEyyiVJk #podiatrist #podiatricphysician #footsurgeon #footandanklesurgeon #dpm #podiatry #podiatricmedicine

This is gold for anyone looking for an appropriate way to manage low back pain. Never underestimate the power of early intervention and education. As someone who has experienced a low back injury, in a time before I had undertaken tertiary study in health, I can tell you I felt isolated and terrified. If I had had the support and education contained within this model of care, I would have saved myself years of pain and psychological distress. As allied health clinicians, it's our duty to inform and educate, no matter how harsh some of the things we say may be perceived by the patient. When I was going through it I wish someone had told me how common the injury was and how exactly to manage it, instead I got little effective communication leading to what some would say "diagnosis by google", and well, we know how that ends. #elmohealth #physiotherapy #alliedhealthprofessionals #lowbackpain

Chiropractors, this two-hour, on-demand webinar is the most comprehensive and practical teaching I have done on what the data suggests may be the greatest reimbursement challenge facing chiropractors across the country. It addresses when a significant, separately identifiable E/M service is reimbursable on the same day as other treatments provided by chiropractors. My hope is that this will be helpful for chiropractors who are experiencing E/M denials or struggling to understand modifier 25. In PACE states, you can also get chiropractic CE credits if you take the short quiz at the end. If you're interested in this topic or if you have experienced these modifier 25 denials, I encourage you to attend. I would also appreciate your feedback on which parts you find most useful. Thanks to the American Chiropractic Association for the opportunity to share my perspective on this important topic. https://lnkd.in/gDgb_pCt #chiropracticcoding #chiropracticbilling #modifier25 #CMTandEM #chiropracticcompliance

Myth and Facts Myth: Previous experiences did not live up to my expectations. FACT: No billing business should guarantee payment or make any other unreasonable promise because they are promising something outside their control. Reputable businesses, such as ours, make commitments such as filing every bill within 24 hours following the medical service. We guarantee clean and precise submissions. A billing company is fully independent of any insurance company and has no influence on when a claim is paid. We follow up by confirming and tracking all submissions, but the insurance carrier is ultimately responsible for claim reimbursement. Of course, if something is underpaid, we investigate and determine the basis for the denial. We do everything we can to have the claims reimbursed. We make sure no Claim stay unless paid as per your expectation. #healthcare #medicalbillingservices #medicalbilling #medicalbillingoutsourcing #clinic #doctors #gastroenterology #physicaltherapist #gastroenterologist #internalmedicine

Getting your eyes tested is about way more than checking your eyeglass prescription. A basic screening by an optometrist checks the various elements of your eye and can catch early signs of glaucoma, neurological problems, and more. That's why having vision coverage as part of your healthcare benefits can be a major part of an overall health strategy - whether you're buying for yourself, your family, or are shopping for benefits packages for your employees. Taking care of your eyes and your employees' eyes is a cost-effective and low-barrier way to stay healthy and happy. Read more about vision coverage here and find out what plans may be right for you, your family, or your business.

Personal Injury Newsletter #1 Success Through Clinical Excellence I am pleased to share information with you that can help your practices. In our profession, there is too much "noise" in this space that can be a waste of your time and money, will lead you to licensure, malpractice, or fraud issues, or is just "recycled" steps while ignoring what has proven to work. Over time, I aim to bring you what has been market-tested in the chiropractic personal injury marketplace to help you thrive in an ethical, compliant and profitable manner. SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING FOR PERSONAL INJURY I am a "techno-nerd" and "love everything technology," including social media. When the social media marketing "boom" happened about 8-9 years ago, we created an entire division within our organization dedicated to social media marketing for personal injury. It was an untapped market that yielded tremendous results. The success "wave" was brief and quickly "fizzled out." Forty-two years ago when I started in this profession, I believed that marketing was the core of getting new cases. I was wrong 42 years ago, but when social media grew, it rekindled my "false beliefs" that confirmed what we know today. Social media is not the answer to new personal Injury cases. Social media does have a place. It will help build your reputation as a clinically excellent provider and will rarley get you new cases. Too often, the time and money spent is more than the return on investment for your campaign. That scenario has played out in 100s of offices nationally with a contrite "you were right" from the doctors who didn't listen. Caveat Emptor: Avoid those professing that social media is the solution to new cases in personal injury. Your success has to be built on your clinical excellence, where you get your referral sources to RUN AFTER YOU based on your clinical excellence. Use social media marketing to tout, in a conservative, professional manner, your academic accomplishments that sets you apart from the rest of the profession. Most doctors do the same things repeatedly and rely on personality to grow. We all get great results because chiropractic is that good, but what sets you apart? It's not politics or your community involvement, it's advanced credentials. Social media is excellent for reshaping your reputation and increased reputation equals increased referrals, provided you have a plan on how to make all this happen. If you want to learn more or get that plan, please go to www.lawyerspiprogram.com and watch the 9-minute video. It will help you get started on your pathway to unlimited referrals because they will run after you. If you need more, call me at 631-786-4253... Mark
