We want to wish a huge congratulations to Roman Perez, Store 246 Manager (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), on winning FMI- The Food Industry Association 2024 Store Manager Award in Category B (Medium retailers: Companies with 26-199 stores). The awards shine a spotlight on the dedicated and deserving store managers who bring their passion and talents to serve their store, employees and customers. Roman is credited with creating an environment for opportunity by coaching, training, and uplifting team members--and encouraging them to uplift each other. In addition, his store is under the company turnover goal by double digits. He also gives back to his community in many ways, such as working with local food banks to deliver hunger relief and partnering with nearby farmers. 2moCongrats! I used to work for Fresh Market as their Cheese Specialist in Birmingham, AL and Destin FL. I loved the Fresh Market. I transferred from AL to FL. But then had to move back home (way, way, out in the Country in August of 2021 because my Mom was put on Hospice. She passed away on March 8, 2022 and now I live with my almost 89 year old Father. It's great to be back home with him.
