Unsurprisingly, battery passports were a key talking point during The Battery Show Europe this week, however the focus is still largely on their implementation in EV's. During an interview with Ben Hubbard for Zag Daily, Circulor’s CEO Douglas Johnson-Poensgen explained the implications and benefits of battery passports for the micromobility industry too. Given Volvo Cars recently delivered the world's first battery passports at production scale, it creates a blueprint for light means of transport (LMT) and industrial batteries, also requiring a digital passport in the EU from February 2027. https://lnkd.in/ecaGRYnE #BatteryPassports #Traceability #MicroMobility
