We recently had the pleasure of hosting our client and partner, Knight's Companies, at Luck Companies to learn more about Values Based Leadership in action!   The Knight's Senior Leadership Team met with Luck President & CEO Charlie Luck, Chief Talent Officer Mark B. and Chief Growth Officer John Pullen to discuss how Luck Companies started its VBL journey over 20 years ago. They also spent time with Luck Associates in a wide variety of roles to learn more about what VBL looks like when it’s in place across all levels in an organization. Culture eats strategy for breakfast. That quote from Peter Drucker conveys that, no matter how great your business strategy is, your plan will fail without a company culture that encourages people to implement it. A toxic culture will kill the best strategy. It will also demotivate the best employees. When you take this into consideration, it becomes obvious that things like respect, equity, kindness are not just "soft stuff". Rather they are hardcore elements required to maximize individual and organisational performance.
