This is my final internship report that is a implementation of a medical air filling line.
For implementation, the project was divided into two stages, a summer internship and a urricular internship.
During the summer internship, activities were carried out to support the Production area, such as digitizing manuals, organizing data and verifying correspondence between project implementations.
The curricular internship focused on the planning, monitoring and validation of the installations of the new filling line.
After these two stages, the implementation of the medical air filling line brought positive results for the company, such as the reduction in employee commuting, decreasing around 3.6 km per week or 144 km per year. In addition, there was a reduction of approximately 3% in downtime at the filling station and a reduction in costs related to machine hire, totaling around €8200 per year. However, it is important to note that the project faced challenges and delays due to the simultaneous operation of the factory, which did not stop its production to carry out the project.
In conclusion, given the delays in completing the project as scheduled, some pending activities were identified, such as completing the validation protocols for the installed equipment, installing the mixal equipment and completing the mixal qualification protocols, in addition to installation of mixal flexibles. Despite these issues, the project has shown positive results and has contributed to reducing costs and optimizing processes at Air Liquide's Avintes plant.
I am open for question or Tips for a different perspective on these subjects.
