#Leaseurope Future Group
Invigors were proud to facilitate the Future Group session at the Leaseurope Annual Convention in Vienna last week.
The Future Group was created in 2013 at the initiative of Leaseurope’s CEO Council and its Secretariat, supported by Invigors, as a way of showcasing young talent in the industry at the Convention, and providing a group of young leasing professional a 6-month programme to network and develop with leaders across the industry. The Leaseurope team of Richard Knubben Stephanie Van Bakel Tham Giang Rafael Alarcón John M. and Stella Mitta were all instrumental in providing input and support to the team and helping the presentations be a success.
This was the 9th session, and since 2013 the Future Group has assembled 136 talents from 46 business across Europe, presenting 27 innovative projects to the convention.
The 15 young talents from different countries, business and functions come together in April in Brussels, and over the course of 6 months 3 teams are formed, 15 projects are reviewed, and 3 ideas selected for presentation to the conference.
Meetings are held face to face in Brussels in May, June and September at the Leaseurope offices, facilitated by Ian Robertson & Paul Johnson-Ferguson of Invigors, to present the initiative, select the projects, coach the participants, review the presentations that the teams have worked on in their own time and to make final adjustments prior to presenting at the convention.
This year we had three great ideas:
e-Scoring System : a method of offering more attractive funding for assets where clients are prepared to interact with funders to demonstrate they are taking concrete steps to make more eco-friendly choices in the selection & use of the asset. Nicola Apostoli Caroline Pélissier Toni Vahevaara Serhat Eyuboglu Mandy Berg
Charging Data Aggregator: an industry-wide tool to allow fleet managers to source data from all charge point operators (CPOs) on how drovers are charging their vehicles and what is the source of the energy being used, to help modify driver behaviour with e-vehicles Marie-claire Mulaj Anastasia Pecullo Luis Hergueta Erika Santamaria Mohamed Oulad
Instant Please: a tool to leverage the instant payment offers within the Leasing value chain and pay vendors more quickly (on delivery & acceptance of the asset) Ronan Perrier Isabella Hedman Mario Hahn Katrin Podewils MMag. Peter Heinzl
The audience voted on which idea was most likely to be implemented, which would have the best impact, which should Leaseurope develop further, on the best presentation and on an overall winner. Each of the groups won at least one of the votes, and the Charging Data Aggregator was selected as overall winner.
Well done to all the participants this year, and thanks to the businesses that offer this opportunity to their young talent and to the Leaseurope team who make this work year in year out.
