leadership is not about giving the commands, leadership is more meaningful when you impact the life of people working with you.

This is so true. It's high time for every company to shift gears and reimagine leadership. Rather than making it a competitive environment, why not reshape it to embrace leadership as part of everyone's daily work? By doing so, people will recognize that leadership moments can arise anytime. This shift could also work wonders as a cultural initiative, boosting both productivity and the satisfaction that stems from it.

As a Black woman in leadership, COMMUNITY has been a critical factor in my success. Your personal and professional community (which, in my opinion, should be separate) will become an inspiration for your success. When you are in the presence of your community, you will be inspired to do MORE and GO HIGHER! Evaluate your community. Do they take you higher, or do they push you down? Recently, I preached a sermon and I gave the types of PEOPLE you need in your community. Here they are: P = Prayer Partner E = Encourager O = someone who is Open and Honest P = Pusher – someone who pushes you into your calling and keeps you moving toward the vision for your life L =Leader – someone who can identify the seed and calling in you and supports you to walk boldly in that calling - personally and professionally. E = Equipper – someone who sees your greatness and helps you get it out.   Having a community is next level for you! Schedule time for community interaction, engagement and collaboration! It is critical for your next level!
