This weekend, we ran the Maverick Race in Suffolk which was a trail run raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK and highlighting the benefits of physical activity in the battle against an awful disease. I ran the long route (23km / 14.5 miles) with my 2 dogs and finished in 2 hours and 7 minutes. This isn't a post to ask you to donate some money, it's a post to raise awareness and encourage people to get outside and run as the physical and mental benefits are huge! On Friday, December 8, 2023, I had the pleasure of signing my new employment contract. 😄 I am excited about the new challenge. 😁 I would like to express my gratitude once again to Ashley Morton and bring attention to him: I was on job hunt for a long time and had contact with several headhunters. Yesterday, I had the same candidate apply for SAP ABAP and SD positions, a Python Developer contract and a System Engineer perm role which he already applied for earlier in the week. All of this with a cover letter explaining his motivations for an office manager / receptionist position. 🤦♂️ If you're a candidate, please target your applications wisely as there are lots of people looking for work at the moment and as recruiters we want to help! Unfortunately, we can't be as effective when filtering through completely irrelevant applications like this.
