Just stumbled upon Kishore Biyani cool theory on the 'WTF is with Nikhil Kamath ' podcast. At first, I thought it was just another assignment, but man, it turned out to be pretty interesting! The whole podcast episode about building fashion, beauty, or home brands had some solid points, especially for a student like me diving into business and marketing. So, here's the summary on the theory: Kishore breaks down India into three groups - India 1, the spenders; India 2, the folks providing services; and India 3, those dreaming big. What caught my attention is India 2 which is notably larger than India 1, are a huge market, often neglected but play a crucial role in the economy. By understanding the unique needs of India 2, companies not only tap into an untapped market but also contribute to the social and economic development of India. Offering affordable, accessible, and relevant products and services becomes a win-win, paving the way for both commercial success and societal impact. There is immense potential for businesses to tailor their strategies to cater specifically to this class because it's key to understand and attend to the needs of the hardworking people who keep our economy going. Listening to the podcast made me realize how important it is for businesses to connect with the different types of consumers out there. It's like learning the secret sauce! #kishoreBiyani. #podcastinsights #business Here's a link to the podcast! https://lnkd.in/gnDYFsGy

Why does Think School prefer Indian case studies? We always look up to foreign companies for learning about business. But with Think School ®, we decided to change this mindset. 👉 What we mostly saw earlier was how amazing Tesla and FAANG companies are, but no one talked about how Indian brands like Haldiram’s, MDH, Lijjat Papad etc. grew from nothing to setting an example for us all. Since day 1, Think School has been all about talking about Indian Businesses and promoting them for the good they have done. Just recently it has become cool to speak about the Indian ecosystem and native businesses. And we love to have done our part in bringing about this wave. It sure feels like a personal win to have been doing something for the nation. 👉 And now we want to take it one step further. Thanks to your support and love, we have grown to be a strong community and now have access to these legendary Indian business owners and founders. And by starting a podcast, we will talk to them 1-on-1 and dive deep into the strategies and tactics they applied in their business. In the end, our aim stands strong at promoting the Indian Ecosystem and Business. And here’s presenting to you our very new podcast - Indian Business Podcast 📌 Let’s set aside other examples and put ourselves on the world map! Are you with us on this mission? #podcast #sharktankindia #growthmindset

Did a podcast episode recently with the iconic Nitin Gadkari sir. This is what went down: I had the privilege of meeting Nitin Gadkari sir, The HighwayMan for an amazing podcast episode with him which is up on Think School ® YouTube channel that you should absolutely check out!! We talk about the role of RSS in shaping our political leaders– what's so special about RSS? Amazing insights on how the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji inspired Nitin sir and what we can learn from this, how do we solve the land acquisition act, what's HIS vision for 2029 India… and SO MUCH more. Apart from the podcast learnings, I learned so much from him while having some conversations. Some that I would like to mention— → He talked about the mismanagement of water in India… In fact, he made a very remarkable point—India doesn't suffer from a shortage of water; rather, it lacks proper water MANAGEMENT. He explains this part with a metaphor– to build dams to capture water, then recycle and reuse it. By implementing THIS strategy consistently, we can save a good amount of water. → Another issue he highlighted was the poor planning of land, particularly in cities like Mumbai. He emphasized that Mumbai city was not designed with future growth of India 2020 for example, in mind–– leading to a lack of quality infrastructure and various land-related problems. Meeting Nitin Gadkari sir was truly a great experience, and his insights have surely left a lasting mark on me. Check out Episode 2 of the Indian Business Podcast featuring the one and only Nitin Gadkari!! Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn from one of India's most influential leaders and gain valuable knowledge that can transform your perspective on business and development. #Businesscasestudy #ThinkSchool

Lunching with Ranveer Allahbadia was a unique experience. Although many recognize him as the charismatic host of India's top podcast, "The Ranveer Show", in person, he exuded the qualities of an individual with an extraordinary perspective on life. As we conversed, Ranveer's passion for personal growth and continuous learning shone brightly. He recounted stories of his humble beginnings, the challenges he encountered, and the numerous failures that eventually led to his successes. But what struck a chord with me wasn't so much his achievements, but his mindset. Ranveer underscored the significance of staying curious and being a lifelong learner. "Success isn't about a final destination," he reflected. "It's about the journey and the lessons learned." He spoke about resilience and viewed setbacks as necessary milestones on the path to greater goals. I walked away from our discussion feeling inspired and recharged. It wasn't merely the stories that left an impression, but his approach to life characterized by humility and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. In a world where success is often equated with material possessions and accolades, it's heartening to see figures like Ranveer valuing the essence of continuous growth, enriching personal experiences, and the pursuit of understanding. The most profound insight from our conversation: Embrace the journey, value the lessons, and always remain a fervent learner. Ranveer Allahbadia

Very interesting insights. From my view, India's economic growth has also been supported by its strong domestic consumption (of course driven by their rise in population).
