Check out Michael Leverty , ChFC®, CLU®, CAP®, RICP®’s quote in Barron's recent article on retiring early. Early retirement is an increasingly popular option for many people, driven by factors such as return-to-office mandates, corporate layoffs, and a post-pandemic desire for a better work-life balance. If you are considering early retirement, it is important to start planning early and do your research. With careful planning, our goal is to help make your early retirement dream a reality. #LFG #LevertyFinancialGroup #FinancialPlanning #Retirement Mike Leverty is CEO, Managing Member of Leverty Financial Group, LLC (the “Firm”). The send-off from my G&S colleagues was really touching for me and my family. No surprise to many, that kind of attention was just a bit uncomfortable for me. Why? Because my tenure and ANY success I realized is simply a credit to the hundreds of hard-working G&S colleagues I had the honor of working with for the past 27 years, the clients that trusted us with their business, and so many others that provided support along the way. The biggest surprise gift I received over the last month? Reflection… that I hope to share as a simple reminder for business leaders, at any level, in any industry. Do not underestimate the little things you practice, say or do during interactions with your team… The welcome feeling you give to a new colleague, the outreach on a job well done, the transparency in the way you communicate, your availability to others, the care you take to deliver even the most difficult feedback or result. As leaders, we fall short from time to time, and don’t always think about these and many other leadership practices on a daily basis. Just know that in the end, they add up to the sum of who you are and the impact you have on an organization. Lead on!
We sent off our outgoing President and CEO Luke Lambert with a bang by holding parties in all our offices! We had such a great time sharing memories, celebrating Luke’s retirement, and honoring his legacy. Thank you, Luke, for your many contributions to G&S throughout the years and we hope you enjoy your retirement! #WeAreGS ❤️

Helping businesses create high performing teams and cultures that don't suck | Fractional Chief People Officer | Speaker
Picture the scene: It’s your retirement party, the company is there celebrating with you and there is not a dry eye in the house. Tears a blend of extreme happiness for you and deep sadness at your departure. People that remember the way you looked after them. People that remember the way you created an environment to nurture them People that are grateful for those extra 5 minutes you spent with them some days despite the fact they knew how busy you were. People that are celebrating you as a leader and manager. Now answer this question: If you were to retire today…would that be the scene? If it wouldn’t be, what could you do this week to turn the scene to that in future… Not sure how? Here to help. #PeopleStrategy #HumanResources #StaffEngagement
