Sometimes when working towards a big goal, it can feel UGH. What can you do about it? Caught up with Dr Rhydian Harris yesterday, from BiteLabs Healthtech, and we spoke about in his words, "the human side to the hustle." We discussed what helps on the days when it doesn’t feel so great: 🔑 Recognising it isn’t going to feel good all the time. Most people have probably heard of the rule of thirds: 1/3 of the time feels good 1/3 feels okay 1/3 can feel so very crappy Allowing yourself to feel those different ways is a huge help (has been key for me anyway!) 👥 Go and talk to others - either in your team or network. Leave the house if you’re working from home, go for walk/grab a coffee if you’re in the office. Sometimes getting out of our own heads can be really helpful. ⏳ “Well I have a deadline/live event in a few days so I got on with it.” There’s definitely a balance between external deadlines helping or harming. Sometimes though, having something outside of yourself as a driving force, helps provide external momentum when your internal drive slows.
