This years headlines have been dominated by talk of RIFs, funding difficulties and company shut downs - but which pharma companies have held steady and which have been hiring and firing?
Taken from LinkedIn's Talent Insights for the Top 100 companies in Pharma and Biotechnology industry (total head count), here's the best and worst attrition rates in Pharma:
Lowest Attrition Rate
1. Eli Lilly - 4% (702 Exits)
2. Daiichi Sankyo - 4% (107 Exits)
3. Genentech - 5% (923 Exits)
Highest Attrition Rate
1. Biogen - 19% (916 Exits)
2. Johnson + Johnson - 13.4% (1,165 Exits)
3. Novartis -11.8% (1531 Exits)
Interestingly, the CRO industry has been heavily impacted by attrition this year, with Perkin Elmer (22%), Eurofins (21%) and Syneos (21%) claiming the highest attrition rates.
Will we see a trend change in '24?
