What could be the next level of semiconductor EDA industry? 🤔 The expectation is that after 30+ years it has reached its maturity, the market is divided, there is nothing new to provide. What is the WOW effect that you can deliver to your customers? 🗣 "It must be crazy to start with such a challenge"; "There is no way to be successful" – I often hear this from conservative circles. After a few years of just thinking "what-if", 2023 was the first step to put these ideas on paper. It seems that when you start from "0", new and creative possibilities appear. How cool is that? You are completely free to focus on the customer. What are their pain points and problems? What could be the solution? Make it as SIMPLE as possible. This is how SimplEDA was born. I am not alone, I have a co-founder with software development background. He has provided additional ideas and solutions, helped me to think outside the box. ✅ We have wireframes, processes, technical feasibility, customer interviews and execution plan. For next step, to build Minimum Viable Product, to test for product market fit, we are now an investment opportunity of 1.6M€. ❗ Our mission is: "We provide unlimited tools, technology and hardware to chip designers globally." Let's make it happen! 🚀 https://lnkd.in/eUZK5XqP

Things change on the road from startup ➡️scaleup… 🚙 A startup is like a road with no traffic. There are fewer cars on your organization’s “road” so less chance that they will bump into each other and crash. 🚦 As traffic increases, you add more lanes. As you scale, IT needs to create processes that manage risk while keeping everyone moving quickly. 💥 One of these processes my team implemented in the scaleup stage is our product requirement document (PRD). Whenever we have a feature request or a new product idea, the PRD gets filled out, which makes all the important details clear for our product and engineering teams. I put together a list of what else IT should keep in mind during the startup to scaleup process for Solutions Review. I wish I had this list at the time… What was the biggest thing that changed for your IT teams as the organization scaled? #techcommunity #tech #technology #IT

We cannot stress enough the importance of building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for any startup. Whether you are in the earliest stages of your company or looking to pivot your business model, an MVP is crucial for testing your ideas without investing time and resources into a full-scale product. By creating an MVP, you can gauge customer interest, determine which features to prioritize and make data-driven decisions based on user feedback. With the fast-paced nature of the startup world, leveraging technology to quickly develop and test your MVP can give you a competitive edge.

Business Development, Ranker Technologies |Founder, Innovation Valley | Podcast Host, Talks at Innovation Valley
If you want to initiate a tech-enabled startup to sell or offer some kind of non-tech products/services leveraging technology, then don’t focus too much on the tech part of your startup, because tech is not your product or service. Focus on your product or service. Do the core part with the minimum available technology as per your resources. You can bring more technology to your statup later when you are ready to scale and have more resources.
