There really is no substitute for hard work, but I constantly see people both in business and outside business wanting a fast track to success. Whether that is more followers, more sales, a quick weight loss, a fast running time. But the truth is that whilst quick fixes might satisfy a need for instant gratification, and be perceived as efficient as they save time and effort, invariably the results will be unsustainable and lack the integrity that hard work produces with more meaningful results in the long run! Oh and don't get me started on all the 'get rich quick' courses that actually for a lot of £££ teach you how to sell courses to other people with the victims generally being vulnerable business owners! Selling the pen paradox Here are the two of the Biggest Mistakes Most Sellers Make while they are selling: 1) Assuming they know what someone looks for in a pen 2) Resorting to the features of the pen. Why it’s wrong: jumping into selling is like throwing a dart in the dark without turning on the lights to see the board. Our gut instinct is to launch into features because they’re something that both buyer and seller can see. We assume they appreciate the same things we do, but that’s not how it works.
