[NEW DATA REPORT] The Specops team has recently uncovered data showing significant costs associated with password resets and how much organizations can actually save by implementing a self-service password reset solution. Recent research uncovers words that should probably stay out of the new-hire passwords. IT Brew shares this list of easy-to-guess, temporary passwords that are also already compromised. 😱 “Before you can set MFA, you need to log in the first time with a password to then configure MFA. So [new-hire accounts] are quite a juicy target for any threat actors, especially if they’re pre-provisioned before the user starts,” Darren James, Specops senior product manager, told IT Brew.
