A great article. How is your business changing in the face of AI? For me, it's a productivity powerhouse and allows me to focus on my strengths of synthesising information to generate insights. Here's my 3 step approach. 1. Inform & Integrate - Dig into a topic in an interactive dialogue with your AI agent of choice. Start with overviews, seek references (including academic sources) and examples. Explore counter-examples (use AI to systematically deal with your cognitive biases) and ensure you are across the issues and opportunities. 2. Synthesise - use the material collated in step 1 to inform conversations with colleagues and even clients. Imagine, postulate and hypothesise and develop a framework for your solution to the problem. This is without an AI agent and is a piece of human creativity. 3. Iterate & Articulate - Take what you developed in Step 2 and test it with your AI agent. Can you give AI a clear and concise problem/solution statement. Does it understand it. Have AI test it, compare it with what it knows about the world. And then work with AI to articulate your results. l've developed and refined this methodology over the last 12 months since ChatGPT hit the market and I've developed some GPTs to assist. One a DevCoach to help me with a product idea and Study Buddy to help with my AICD course. AI is a productivity powerhouse but it's only as good as the questions you ask and it certainly can't (yet) infer, suppose and imagine.
