One thing I love about the health space is the people contributing to it with a strong sense of service and care. Stéphanie Trang is one of them. What does Science for a Safer World mean to you?   For me, it means that scientific innovation should continually enhance the quality of people’s lives and, more specifically within my field, by advancing the creation of safer and more effective medicines.      What are you most proud of?   At LGC, I was proud to contribute to a compassionate drug programme where we rapidly produced this medicine meeting stringent specifications. Recently, it was administered to a young patient, leading to a significant improvement of his health.   On this International Day of Women and Girls in Science, what is the most important message you want to send out to young women thinking about a career in science?   Science is for everyone and believe in yourself. Diversity in science is crucial for innovation and progress.
