Old contact materials determine old construction principles, so what is innovative here? It may sound like a trick question, but our reimagination of the problem as part of the solution has been key to the success of our affordable, ultra-low-emissions decarbonization solutions. The need for creative thinking around the potential for CO2 to advance the energy transition (and how we can best accelerate CO2 emissions reductions) is why we’re excited to sponsor this year’s Supercritical sCO2 Power Cycles Symposium in San Antonio, Texas. Normally we witness it happening in the US and then... only then... it is "replicated" in the EU with the contextualized corrections! But it's great to see the gaining comparison in the different LCOE of green sources with the fossil ones. As we work towards our green transformation, we plan to use more electricity in the future to heat our melting tanks with green electricity, moving away from fossil fuels. Capped energy costs would enable this transformation and help German industries such as ours remain competitive.
