Wall pocket" concept: With sliding windows, one element normally remains in the opening. Wall pockets allow the sashes to be moved completely to reveal the entire opening. In the Kornversuchsspeicher in Berlin, a cero sliding window on the ground floor ensures a seamless transition between the catering area and the outdoor area. A special feature here is that the two sliding elements retract into a wall pocket on the room side, revealing a 3.15 m wide and 3.34 m large opening.

One prerequisite of the #circulareconomy is to make products that last. This principle is simple but not easy. Whenever you buy something that cannot be repaired or refurbished (or that goes out of fashion quickly) it will go to waste rather sooner than later. This often means that the resources are lost, given the limited circularity of materials in practice. What is therefore needed to reduce the impact on the #environment are well designed products of high quality. Also when it comes to furniture, products are often being disposed of quickly. We at #vitra see it as our responsibility to make products that can last for a very long time and to ensure that they actually do stay in the loop. 🟢 KEIL weltweit 🟢 REGNBAGEN / GÖTHEBURG Mein Kollege Roman Halbe und ich hatten diese Woche die Chance, uns zusammen mit Robin Nestenborg von COSENTINO und Jens Hagfors von der SFS Group Group, die Fassade REGNBAGEN in Götheburg anzuschauen. Es handelt sich um ein 4.000m2 Sanierungsprojekt bei dem der Eigentümer sich für eine DEKTON Fassade in einer Sonderfarbe mit einer Aluminium Unterkonstruktion von SFS entschieden hat. Alle Platten sind nicht sichtbar mit unseren KEIL Ankern befestigt. Ich liebe diese Art der Termine, da sie mir zeigen, wofür wir bei KEIL stehen. Das Ergebnis ist großartig und der Eigentümer ist super zufrieden mit seiner Fassade.
