✨ May half-term is nearly here✨ Childcare is expensive and lots of families are completely unaware of the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme which helps working parents (including business owners) save on their childcare costs. ❓So, what is it? 👉🏽Tax-Free Childcare allows eligible working families to claim 20% of their childcare costs - up to a maximum of £2,000 per child per year from the Government. ❓Who can join the Tax-Free Childcare scheme? 👉🏽 Working families, including the self-employed, in the UK who have children under 12. ❓What type of childcare can I use it on? ➡️ Nurseries ➡️ Childminders/Nannies ➡️ Breakfast/After-School Clubs ➡️ Holiday clubs ❓How does it work? 💻 Register for an online Tax-Free Childcare Account ✅ For every £8 paid into a Tax-Free Childcare online account, families will automatically receive an additional £2 in government top-up. ❇️ You then pay the childcare provider directly from this account. Some Small Print: ➡️ Each parent needs to earn less than £100,000 a year.
