Why is it that when you go to train in a virtual environment the equipment and technology used is different to the equipment and technology that is used to conduct every day operations? This is the question that PAR Government, partnered with MVRsimulation and Battlespace Simulations, Inc. is looking to solve. This week at #SOF2024 visit booth #3211 to experience a collaborative, mixed-reality simulation-based environment that allows users to train in a way that is realistic, while incorporating individual technology and operational capabilities. The demonstration brings together PAR Government’s Sit(x) TAK server, Battlespace Simulations, Inc.’s MACE, a brand new VRSG geospecific virtual replica of Tampa Bay, the MVRsimulation DJFT, the Varjo mixed-reality headset, and Galaxy #GalaxyTabActive5 Pro and #GalaxyS23 Pro Tactical Edition. Together these technologies will deliver a #SOF training scenario on the DJFT. The scenario will take place in the virtual Tampa Bay environment, with a VRSG-simulated MQ-9 RPAS sensor feed (complete with KLV metadata) providing overwatch for the trainee's ATAK application. ☁️ Streaming 3D terrain as a service ☁️ Did you know that VRSG’s whole world terrain supports “Streaming as a Service” model training for US DoD users of the Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE)/Air Force Synthetic Environment for Reconnaissance and Surveillance (AFSERS) system? Tomorrow, May 8, 2024, attendees at the Department of the Air Force’s Modeling & Simulation Summit can find out more about the work being done by Trek10, Inc. for MUSE/ AFSERS - the primary RPAS simulation training system used in the DoD for command- and staff-level joint services training. MVRsimulation’s Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG) is the primary provider of visuals for the system, with around 2,500 VRSG licenses in use across the DoD RPAS training user base in the United States. Trek10’s innovative cloud implementation for MUSE/AFSERS gives DoD users a flexible way to run training scenarios remotely on demand via cloud native technologies. Cloud-based training gives teams improved responsiveness to changing operational environments, greater flexibility, and access to training expertise no matter where in the world trainees and their instructors are located. The training administrator simply launches a training cluster from the enhanced web application, and then the user can stream the simulation to their laptop without needing special hardware. By remotely delivering the MUSE/AFSERS Application Suite as an SaaS experience, only the current view of VRSG terrain is streamed as h.264 video to the end-user device  A shared repository of terrain data is made available to the cloud environment, and hosting a VLC server any device can subscribe. The army with the best fires and effects integration system will control movement on the battlefield. Contemporary #combat is completely different now and does not replicate GWOT conditions. Traditional business rules, formations, battle tracking and battle drills do not adapt to the current #threats or prepare the Joint Force for modern warfare. Immersive Wisdom (IW) helps military leaders make decisions by enabling the flow of information and providing SA in REAL TIME in a distributed user environment with scalable access to #DDIL locations. IW enables cross-network #interoperability in all network enclaves (SIPR/JWCS, etc.) for JIIM-C #collaboration to synchronize effects across the 5-operating (air, land, sea, space, cyber) domains. When using IW for data #integration and #CJADC2 visualization, we’re able to decrease stress on the LAN by over 79%.
