I am privileged to be part of my country’s delegation at the ongoing World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23) in Dubai. WRCs bring together National Regulators, Industry Partners (mobile and satellite operators) Research Scientists etc. to deliberate on the identification and allocation of radio spectrum for different wireless technologies, based on scientific studies. WRC-23 will determine the future of digital technologies through the identification of spectrum for mobile and satellite communications. I am following Agenda Item 1.2, one of the topical and contentious issues being discussed at the conference. AI 1.2 seeks to identify spectrum in the 3GHz, 6GHz & 10GHz bands for the implementation of IMT. #spectrum #digitalisation #wrc23
