Dan Shipper plays with AI for a living, so naturally we had to ask him what the most impactful ways to use AI are. Here’s what he told us: 📖 Let it read your diary. Dan uploads all his journal entries to a Claude Project that he can use to map behavioral patterns and reflect on growth. 🚩 Lean on its neutral insights. As long as the context you give it is objective, AI is amazing at providing perspective in tough situations. 🧠 Take advantage of its knowledge of everything. AI can reference every mental model ever published – that’s strategy gold. ✍️ Fight writer’s block. Dan literally goes for walks with AI to talk through his ideas and then asks AI to turn it into something workable. 🧑💻 Build an app or website. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to code – AI does. As long as you bring it good specs and you’re ready to iterate, you can build something.
