The application of Post-Consumer Recycled Content (PCR-rPP) in packaging is an important step forward in the development of sustainable packaging solutions. Last month, FIBCs (big bags) with 30% PCR-rPP were delivered to our German customer SE Tylose GmbH & Co. KG, a producer of cellulose ethers, plant-based powdery water-soluble products used as e.g. thickener in industrial as well as food and pharmaceutical applications.   SE Tylose has become a front runner in the field of sustainability and has been applying FIBC reuse and recycling for a number of years already. “The switch to FIBCs with 30% recycled material supports our sustainability strategy and is an important step for SE Tylose’s efforts to contribute to more circular economy”, emphasised Sandra Jahn, Head of Sourcing at SE Tylose. At LC Packaging, one of our goals for 2030 is to make sure that 80% of our packaging delivers the circular economy. Joining forces with SE Tylose has important benefits for both of us. Our colleague Josip Marić was therefore very proud to witness the first rPP bags being filled with cellulose ether from SE Tylose! #BigBag #CircularPackaging #FIBC #RecycledContent 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦: 𝘚𝘌 𝘛𝘺𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦
