Happy Birthday SciTec! Today SciTec Celebrates our 45th Anniversary. From its inception at Research Park in Princeton, NJ, in 1979, SciTec has built upon a culture of scientific exploration, engineering discipline, and mission focus to deliver innovative solutions in support of national security. In 1989 SciTec became a wholly owned subsidiary of TRW. And a year after Northrop Grumman acquired TRW in 2002, SciTec became an independent small business again. Since then, SciTec has grown, opening offices In Dayton, Ohio (2025); Huntsville, Alabama (2008); Boulder, Colorado (2011); Herndon, Virginia (2015); El Segundo, California (2021); and a second Boulder office (2023). Also in 2023 SciTec completed an ESOP transaction to put ownership in the hands of all of its employees. As SciTec looks forward to our Golden Anniversary, the 350+ owners (and growing!) remain committed to delivering for our customers.

Last week SciTec Princeton hosted 17 aspiring scientists and engineers for Take Your Child To Work Day. The kids took part in a variety of lab experiments to learn about what SciTec does, "seeing" things that they can't see, 3D printing demos with take home printed key chains, LEGO building, freezing flowers with liquid nitrogen, and drone flying! Of course the day was rounded off with a pizza party and a visit from the ice cream truck! #defendthefuture
