Nearing my 5th year anniversary and I am thrilled to bits to share that ServiceNow is now a part of the Fortune 500 list   What’s even more inspiring is that we are the fastest-growing enterprise software company to reach $7 billion in revenues organically. To put things to perspective, this is on back of Revenue CAGR of 31% from FY18-22 in CC. And just this past quarter (Q1 FY23) we announced our first $2B+ Revenue quarter for the first time.   A testament to this awesome journey is the fact that 85% of the #fortune500 companies themselves use #ServiceNow   We are just getting started. We are on our way to becoming the Defining Enterprise Software Co of the 21st Century (#DESCO21C), with a profitable growth trajectory to $20B+ Being in a market of one means we will have to inspire ourselves from within and also disrupt ourselves from within – after all, 9 in 10 companies from the Fortune 500 list of 1955 have since gone bankrupt, merged or acquired, or simply contracted   Hence, we endeavor to be the intelligent platform for end-to-end digital transformation, furthering the great reprioritization in the enterprise

Imagine this. You take a company from $39 Billion to $163 Billion (yes with a B). You've been the CEO of that company for 10+ years, would you retire? Probably. Would you feel accomplished, hell yeah. But that's not the case for Bill McDermott. I was listening to the David Rubenstein show while at the gym today, and man can I say Bill McDermott reinforced all of my beliefs. A man who 4x'd a multi-billion dollar company Still working everyday to continue to multiply some of the worlds tech industry leaders. From SAP to  ServiceNow this guy seriously has the drive and some golden nuggets for all businesses and CEO's. Here are the key takeaways I took from Bill👇 1. Every job has it's lessons McDermott was a paperboy who delivered newspapers door-to-door. He said those early principles of hard work, determination, and customer service are now values he applies today when leading multi-billion-dollar companies. 2. Making promises and keeping them This is simple yet powerful: his commitment to integrity and genuinely caring about others' needs has been the cornerstone of his success for both sales and leadership. 3. Embracing Change and AI At ServiceNow, McDermott has already doubled its value, revenue, and employee base. His focus on productivity, digitization, and AI showcases his vision for harnessing emerging technologies in the business world. A little late to the party, but here's my first "back feeling refreshed and ready to work in the new year" post - lucky all of you! That being said, with it being the beginning of the year, I thought I'd start it out on what are likely to be the most exciting developments in ServiceNow and cloud computing in general in 2024. 1. Multi-Cloud Mastery: Gone are the days of single-cloud dependence. ServiceNow's partnerships with hyperscalers like Azure and GCP empower businesses to leverage the best of each platform, maximizing agility and cost-efficiency. 2. AI Takes the Wheel: ServiceNow's Einstein AI engine is no longer just a gimmick. It's proactively predicting outages, streamlining workflows, and even anticipating customer needs, driving significant business value. 3. Low-Code Democratization: Forget complex coding! ServiceNow's low-code platform empowers everyone, from business users to IT, to build custom applications and automate tasks, fueling innovation and agility. 4. Citizen Developers Rise: With low-code at their fingertips, employees are becoming citizen developers, creating solutions to their own problems and bypassing traditional IT bottlenecks. This fosters a culture of empowered problem-solving and rapid digital transformation. 5. Sustainability Takes Center Stage: Cloud isn't just about speed; it's also about eco-consciousness. ServiceNow leads the charge in green cloud initiatives, optimizing resource usage and minimizing carbon footprint, proving digital progress can be planet-friendly. 6. The two updates we'll see from the ServiceNow platform this year will take generative AI even further, and see some of the biggest updates the platform has had yet to date.
