What a fantastic #Know24!   This was my second time at our annual Knowledge event, and it was amazing. It was fantastic to be able to meet some old friends, new customers and learn a lot from the partners innovating on the intelligent platform. Now on Now stories and the peer to peer connects was awesome. My team and I also were part of several awesome speaking engagements throughout the week:   ✅ I joined Glen Taylor for our Now on Now session, where we discussed how we rely on the Now Platform to scale and drive efficient resource planning, execute upgrades, and manage multi-development environments.     ✅ At Executive Circle, I discussed “the Intelligent enterprise of the future” with Clare Lansley, CIO of Aston Martin F1 Team, and Teresa Tung, Cloud First Chief Technologist at Accenture, and what that looks like—data that self-manages and work that doesn’t feel like work but is more about ideation, innovation, and meaningful collaboration. “Humans take charge of strategic thinking and machines do the work while humans manage exceptions.” At ServiceNow, we’re driving toward zero controllable incidents, where it’s all about self-service, self-enablement, and self-healing.    We’re deep in the AI age and putting AI to work for people with ServiceNow—the AI platform for business transformation. I’m fired up from #Know24 and excited about everything we’ll accomplish for our customers, partners, and employees! Last Thursday I hosted our 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 in London, alongside Mark & Annabel 🎯 We were joined by sixteen of the UK's #ServiceNow business leaders from a wide range of industries and backgrounds, predominantly Platform and product owners, supported by our implementation partners Devoteam & Thirdera. Firstly, a huge thank you to Damien Davis and Amal Lad for spearheading the innovative and thought-provoking conversations around Generative AI at an Enterprise, and Service Ops level. Albeit, I was mostly there to orchestrate and wait 🍷 on our attendees, these were my key takeaways: ✔ 𝗚𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆. Don't fall victim to the hype around it, take time to develop products that benefit your overarching business challenges and strategy. ✔ 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆. AI is only as smart as the humans that program it and the databases that feed it. The more the data to work from, the better the outcome will be. (How much of your data is already being openly shared with businesses?🤔) ❌ 𝗔𝗜 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. The safe yet effective use of AI at an enterprise level can transform lives, but policy and regulation must ensure it benefits all rather than maintain the status quo for a privileged few. The EU AI Act is due to reach an agreement by the end of 2023 and begin adoption thereafter.
